That is a very good point, there's little support on concord/spirit cars, even on the large amc board. Cherokees are one of the largest donors to our efforts, so absolutely on the 1st generation xj. I'll have to look through my micro fiche cards I was given, I may have some early xj factory parts catalogs, I know I have Eagle ones, but those are already in the pedia.

I may have a little bit early XJ stuff too, but not much. And, many interior and trim parts were also used on the Grand Wagoneer of the same era. AMC was the King, at the time, of cross engineering. Case in point, adapting the Pacer in a very short time to use AMC power instead of the GM Rotary. The big car companies may have abandoned such a product. AMC could not afford to.

I think that's a good idea to adopt the concord and spirit. the large amc forums believe the eagle is a bastard child what do they think about the concord and spirit. the xj has its own forums but we could cover that also if wanted, and the "nest" focuses on the eagle primarily.
it just depends on what the thought on the forums that cover the full companys products believe what the spirits and concords are. what would we call the forum though

they even experimented with the idea of using the same sheet metal on the front and back of the car

AMC: The Final 10 Years. The Concord and Spirit came out in model year '78.

i had to be the only one so far to say amc evo i guess. i have 2 old ramblers also. i have done some late model car swapping of parts to my old '62 rambler. its up to you guys, but i think other amc owners who find us could benefit from other peoples knolege of amc's in general, not JUST eagles. theres concordes, spirits, hornets, ect. my brakes i put on my rambler work for ANY amc other than the 63 and older americans, eagles and i dont know about pacers, never been around one. (only problem is 15" steel wheels arent gauranteed to work, i have had one fit, the others didnt.)
