Finally found the evolution, had been at the nest quite awhile back. Sadly had to take the old Eagle to the salvage yard as the unibody had rusted so badly. Brake and gas lines were starting to weep. I honestly don't know what was holding the front of the rear springs into place, the metal was thin as paper. Drove unto and off the trailer at the yard and everything still worked great. Stopped at the yard a week later and it was gone, had been sold to someone who had to have it. Have been looking for another every since. Have tried a Bronco and it's to big, the wife's Blazer just doesn't cut it either. Got to go out west or south and find another that's rust free. Have to say Hi to Doug, met him at the Toledo meet several years ago.

Sorry to not get back to you and thanks for the link. Life's been so upside down last couple of years but one thing for sure is I still miss the Eagle.

I'm trying to sell mine since I got the Rebel. I've had enough knucklehead tire kickers I'm probably gonna keep it.

Welcome! Haven't seen Doug active on here or the den in quite a while,, if your looking for a few other familiar names you might want to check out the amceaglesden.com, long story short, it is just the nest renamed, and under "new" management.
