Another thought, you can use the subscribe feature to send you alerts (ie via email, or what ever method) when a topic you're subscribed to is posted on.

I understand that, but what puts me off is that sometimes I have to go through a page or two. That's why wanted to know if there was someway to set it up so you only see what's new and not everything.

I think I know what what mean by that, the nest was set up that way. The only bad thing about that is that when you log off, or get booted, without viewing unread posts, the next time you sign in, and click the unread posts tab, the old unread posts are not there. That used to really piss me off, lol. I know it's a little more searching, but, it leaves unread posts on the list until you actually read them.

That is one thing on thier setup that I dont like as well. If you would then click view all unread topics, the other posts that you didn't read earlier would show up. It dose t bother me to have another click, but I like to go through all of the posts to see what I can learn.

The best part of Evo for me is that I can not go on here for two weeks and when I get back I can pick two or thread threads to look at an leave the rest go. They sit there forever.

On the Den the first time you go back you're looking at five pages of unread stuff. I look at two or three posts, and then the next day they delete themselves automatically.

Several times I've avoided the den and I've even deleted it from my phone because it's all or nothing, look at all the posts right away or don't go on there at all.

Please don't change that ability here on Evo.

I have noticed that too capt, it registers them as new one you first come one...but I guess whether you actually open them up or not it doesn't count them as new anymore if you've logged in again. I usually don't go more than maybe a weekend without checking so I'm never far behind, but I could see how it would suck if you are gone for 2 weeks! Sometimes on another forum that has like a 100 updates a day I will create a new tab for each page of new threads and then check them when I have time. Then when I do check I will create a new tab for each thread and read them when I get to them.
