As I move closer to adding an Eagle to my family I'm thinking about the key for this future beast. The key was quite worn, to the point that the AMC logo wasn't so easily identified. Has anyone ever found or started making key blanks that match old AMC keys? Specifically early 80s, though I recognize the 84 Eagle key looks near identical to my 77 CJ7 key so presume they didn't change much. Anyone found a way to get pretty, new keys?

Bah, I didn't look at my search results tab first...

$10 a pop is quite manageable. They even have AMC key fobs to complete the look.

if you want an AMC logo'd key, you can find them on feebay real easily. that would be cool to get for just a retro thing. you can go get a key cut for every day use (that you don't have to worry about wearing the amc logo off of) real easily almost anywhere that cuts keys. they are a standard key that gm used for decades. I have one key that is an amc logo'd key for coolness, but use an off the shelf gm key for every day use. for my ramblers, my mom found me some GOLD plated rambler keys. now THOSE are friggin cool!!! plus the rambler "lucky horse shoe" key ring. :blazin:
