Ok, I hate to sound like some admin on another site, but allowing repeats of posts will fill up our forums with more and more repeats, instead of collecting all the info on one subject. and condensing the info into one post.

We have a post on 'Wheels that fit the eagle' and then a new post is started "how large of a tire can I go", Plus we have "16" tires to fit 85 Eagle wagon"

The older post "wheels will fit your eagle" already has the rim info, and tire info.

I would suggest categories of our mechanical sections (like other sites):

Suspension,
electrical,
bodywork,
Etc.

and keep them condensed reasonability.

We don't have to be a bitch about it, but people nowadays get lazy, don't want to look, and just post. if there's another post with the info, We can just direct them there.

Good points. Separate boards will also reduce the frustration level as folks look for answers. I feel the activity here now warrants a few more categories, especially the tech stuff.

Maybe a combined (or separate) transmission/transfer case section? There seem to be more'n a few threads on those subjects. Though a few do seem to have fallen victim to Evo's signature hijacking. Image lol

Now we need to consolidate all the tire and wheel threads.

Should all be under drive train, but separate tranny/T-case if you all want. But I don't think It's that big of a category.

isn't that what makes this forum entertaining? trying to sift thru the hijack and find the info SOMEWHERE in the subject?

Makes the EVO Wiki all that more important. But, only if people use it.

Yup, basically. As we gather info, we should do our best to update, add, and build on our Wiki. That way, as it grows to become more complete, we can refer to it more and more.

That was its intent. It is just difficult at times to keep on top of it because, at least for me, if it is not added the Wiki when it is all fresh it gets forgotten. To really make it work you need a cadre of folks who would be willing to update it when things are fresh.
