Can we change the forum default for links to open in a new tab rather than take you away from the site?

I'll look into this rafe, that is a nice feature to not leave the site every time one clicks a link.

Exactly! I I'm used to links opening in a new tab so when I click something from the forum and then I'm done with that site I will exit that tab and in turn completely live the forum and then I have to back to the forum and find the thread again if I want to comment in it. Kind of annoying! Also I'm lazy! :)

Plus...coming from the site owners stand point...you don't want to be directing people away from your page. You want to keep them engaged on your site. Several times I've clicked on a link in here..been redirected and then just forget what I was doing and don't even remember I was on here til quite awhile later. You can get lost on the internet! :)

Hold shift(windows) or the apple key and click, that'll open in a new tab.
