hello I've owned my 1978 AMC concord wagon for around 8 years now and just rebuilt the head and put all new gaskets on it and during the process i forgot where one of the throttle springs goes. Any help would be much appreciated!!

yours looks different than what I have for a set up, on eagles it seems like the kick down cable is shorter than yours, so im wondering if there is a difference in brackets. hopefully another member can help you better than I can.

I have the 258 CI as well, part of the differences might be with the carb, as I have an emissions modified carter 2 barrel that is controlled by a computer. that system came out around 1981, so you luckily missed that mess of vacuum hoses and wiring. I provide an image off of Wikipedia as an example of what the carb looks like.
