I was wondering if any one has replaced their front seats with ones from a Wrangler or some other car? I went ahead and threw my front seat out, so I need to get a good replacement.

im in the same boat. at work, I get sent to the local salvage yard from time to time for parts for my customers cars. I need to find a better seat. my seat in honeybadger was busted, and just junk. I installed a 10 way power/heated seat from an '02 or so zj. its comfy and great and all, but it sits to tall. and its on modified brackets to sit as low as possible. every other seat I have tried, seems to be to stinking wide to sit down low enough in the sx4 the way the trans tunnel is. (not to mention clear my 229 low range shifter!!) needs to be a narrow, and low cushion seat. the zj seat would be great if the bottom cushion wasn't so stinking TALL!!!

I too would like to know if anyone finds a good replacement.

I ordered a set of those cheap racing style bucket seats from eBay. They will need completely custom brackets, but they should fit and aren't too bad in terms of quality and comfort. I'm still thinking they will have the height issue though, especially for my friends who are taller than 5'11".

I'm 5'7" and I can barely fit in my SX/4 with stock seats! Well at least getting in is hard, but maybe that's cause I had to pull the seat so far forward. There isn't much room between the seat and the bottom of the steering wheel.

I had a '71 Cortina GT with leather slung seats that would have been awesome in mine.

those cheap racing seats are a flat out NO GO for me!!! I have a 50 mile one way drive to work every day. I have to sit in them for a while, and with my spine issues from the army days, seats are tough to find that my back can sit in. by the time I get to work/home, the seats of my peon kills my back.

RHD?? where was this? those seats look like they would be nice, but the lack of lower back lumbar would bother me I think. I need adjustable lumbar, as my back cant stay in the same position for very long.

The pic was of a British version (Mine was LHD Canadian model) It had 2 lumbar adjustment levers on the side. I also saw similar Recaro seats in a VW Jetta.
