I have been driving my eagle all summer now and I am always amazed at all the young kids that are just mystified by the car. I still get great comments on it from all the younger guys and they all want to know how I modified the car to make it a 4x4...lol I tell them its stock and they dont belive me...youngster's what ya gonna do

It's a shame AMC didn't make it through to the 90s. They just might have survived and all these young kids would still know what the heck an Eagle is!

Don't know if I'm young( my eagle and I were born only a few days apart), but it seems like I'm not even capable of explaining " no, AMC, not around anymore, but its not dodge ford or Chevy.

Some people hear AMC and think the movie theaters! :)

I'm also just barely younger than my Eagle. I'm only 27...28 in December. So the Eagle is an '83 and I'm an '85.

I guess you could say i'm young seeing as Eagle Eyes is three years older than I am and Survivor is the same age as me. when most people my age or younger hear me say AMC they say don't you mean GMC and I give them a funny look and say no AMC it stands for American Motors Corporation which usually leaves them looking very confused.

When they give me that deer in the headlights look after I say AMC, I say, "you know, the company that made the Gremlin and the Pacer." But, I don't think many younger people have heard of those cars either.

Ahh yes, how could I forget the channel. The Walking Dead! :) Oh and I think Breaking Bad was also an AMC show.

Yeah, most people do tend to know the Gremlin and Pacer AMC car...though like you said even some of the younger crowd now has never heard or seen of those cars either!

I just turned 20 last month, so I guess that makes me one of those 'young guys', but I know a lot about AMC and could tell anyone pretty much all they would want to know. I probably know more about AMC than almost all of the 16k student population at my Community College. :)
