Been fun seeing all the names When my internet comes back I'm going to have to see what they are like.
Hope everyone else enjoys the idea of seeing the names.

Yup...I figured I'd be dating myself when I put up my list.

I forgot about a couple the first time:
George Burns & Gracie Allen
"Lonesome" George Gobel & "spooky old Alice"

And one I never cared for:
Jackie Gleason

I like many that were listed so here's a few of my fav's that I have not seen on other's lists.

Bill Cosby, probably my absolute favorite, hysterical, but no need for censorship.

Bobcat Goldthwaite, (played ZED on policy academy) he's a local too, loves to pick on cny'ers, lol. I didn't know he had a real voice until I saw his stand up routine a few years back.

Rodney Dangerfield

Andy Kaufman, even though he claimed not to be one, I got the humor behind his antics, genius..

This last one, granted it's a band, but, everything done is humorous in some way or another
Dave Brockie Experience (aka DBX).

Is that a claim that he wasn't s dirty comedian? I've heard stuff from him that seemed on par with George Carlin.

One that I've re-discovered after digging out the box of records, is Brother Dave Gardner. Never do get anything done when one of those records starts up, 'cause I can't help but stop & listen.

First one I recall is Rusty Warren "Banned in Boston". I grew up with the Honeymooners, etc but later on Jackie seemed too sad to be funny. Right around Smokey and the Bandit 3 he lost his wife, so I figure that was it. Sylvester Stallone did some pretty funny stuff back in the day but many didn't get it (too high brow, like Dennis Miller)

One Truly Canadian, eh? is Nestor Pistor. R rated
