Damn it!!!!!! I've been tagged, I'll have you know, my ch*vy knowledge is limited, but I do have a great deal of Oldsmobile V8 useless knowledge stored in the ole cranium, lol . Most people know nothing about the big "O" :lmao: , so I educated myself on the subject, that and HEI along with quadrajets, lol.

My dad does a good job of rebuilding a carburetor. I remember a Q-jet on our old 74 Chevy van and an I/O on an even older Mark Twain boat. I love all the stories I hear about his 64 Galaxy and 67 GTO. Between him and my uncle I figure I got general motor needs covered. My uncle even has the 1 Ford I want. A 1964 1/2 Fairlane panel wagon.

Why the 83? The 84 came with the better rear end (8.5 ten bolt opposed to the 7.5 typical g-body rear end)...Cool car nonetheless, but sadly both had the anemic 307. The lightning rods are just too awesome though, .

Shagg...I had actually thought H/O's were only made 1983...I stand corrected. And...yeah....it's literally the only car I want for the shifter :lmao:
