I actually was approved for a loan of 6k last week. So I can afford it...in a matter of speaking! :) I'm still not dead set on buying this one, but I am looking for a bugeyed wagon. Hard part is finding a 5 speed around here. Seems like most people drive Subarus into the ground...so there aren't many for sale.

Well the local Outback Sport sold today. And another one I had my eye on on the East coast also sold. I'm still looking around though.

bummer. before I bought my peon, I drove an '03 or 04 (10 years ago now so I forget exactly, sorry.) wrx sti. it had been hopped up a little bit and it was FUN!!! wife said NO WAY IN HELL!!! she didn't like how much fun I was having driving it, and HATED the big scoop on the hood, and huge wing in back. lol
