Just checking in, I'm okay here. Heard some bad reports though. Prayers for all affected.

Just got off work to see this going on. Been wondering about you Pat. Glad to hear all is good, hopefully y'all are in the clear now.
Sitting here with my eyes glued to the weather channel. Looks like OK and MO were getting hit.
Hoping I will be in the clear tonight. Looks like another night of (at least  ) severe storms here... who needs sleep.

Lots of rain and crazy lightning and thunder here.

Saw a funnel cloud going towards the ground tonight...it stopped and then disappeared back up into the sky. Was pretty crazy!

Little bit of info from last night: Had heard a report of mass casualties, saw this this morning - St. Charles County Missouri Scanner Traffic
Holiday Inn Express was not MCI (mass casualty incident) The property did receive significant storm damage but no injuries or fatalities. The reason for all the Emergency Vehicles is, it was an MCI staging area. Sorry for the miss information. We were going off information received over the scanner.-SMW- Good news there. Here's a fire station less than 5 miles from me. Shares a parking lot with TWO schools, middle & elementary.

And a You Tube some genius took. I'd have been heading the OPPOSITE direction as fast as I could, not driving INTO it & then sitting there while it went over me!!

I do drive field trips for that high school, probably about 10 miles south/west from me.

Glad it seems okay that way. Was a strong system. I'm in Kansas City by the way.

He is stupid, sure it is neat to see a tornado form, I've seen one already, and have an idea of what to look for as in wall cloud and rotation, but no way would I drive into a storm like he did. Stay safe for all of you that live down there.

Eeeesh, crazy s.o.b. :speedy: Was thinking how lucky we are not to get any tornadoes, then remembered I'm in my other home - we DO get them here. Thankfully (for us) that's all staying well to the south - hope everyone can stay safe!
