I was lurking on a forum when I found this. it looks like it shares some parts with the concord or eagle. I don't like it that much, but I can see the resemblance.

:epiphany: here is another idea instead of painting regals xj pink. graft this grill into an xj front clip. would just have to look out for banjos :speedy: just don't expect me to do that, im just giving the east coasters ideas :twisted:

ok I guess we scared regal away from heading east. or she loves Canada to much. :lol: its bad enough that the grill is starting to grow on me. I might have to desecrate an xj with it.

The Eagle and XJ are very much attached. Roy Lunn was only given the money to develop the Eagle if he would also develop the XJ. He did the Eagle first as the platform was already available and could do it on the cheap. And, he told the bosses it would be a great test bed for the unibody concept in a Jeep. The Eagle's development costs were returned after the first 35,000 were sold.
