8-) Very nice Dave, just more proof, treated right, any dog is a lap dog.

I think everyone has seen Casper (not you Dave, my gf's and my dog, :lmao: ).

Image
He's a 2 year old Jack (parson) Russel Terrior, he was hanging out in the eagle when I was dismantling the interior. He perched himself up on the driver seat back to supervise my work, :queer: . I'm not much of a small dog person, but he's a little different. The gf and I adopted him last year from the prior owner who didn't want him anymore, was just going to turn him into the pound. Being that he is deaf, his fate was less than good, so we took him in, great little dog.

We felt that he needed a buddy though, on December 1st we went to a local shelter to look at a sheltland, eneded up, she got adopted the day prior, since we were there we decided to check out the other dogs. As we walked through, every dog in the place was barking like mad, except one. An English Coon Hound, he sat in his crate, and just looked at us as we walked by. December 2nd he was in the jeep heading home with us. 8-)

This is Red, he's around 3 years old, may have been abused a bit in the past, he shows some traits of it, took him a little while to really trust us.

The miss caught him sleeping in the laundry basket when she got home one day, :lmao: , the terrified look of "Oh Shit, she's gonna be pissed" on his face was priceless. I guess it's time to buy him a dog bed, laundry basket will work til then though  .

As far as the two dogs getting along, I'd say they do quite well.

I know y'all probably remember my bunch...
I have had them since they were little pups, got them shortly after my beloved (first child to me) Rat Terrier passed away and then my dad, which is going on 9 years now. Didn't even realize it until recently when the bf brought home some "senior" dogfood that they are getting old

Here's Molly (a Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix) she was on her way to the pound.
She's always rearing to go...

She's the only one I can trust out and about without a leash.

Here's Wednesday (a toy Fox Terrier) got her out of a puppy mill situation.
Not very many good pics of her, she always runs from the camera like it's beaten her.

Here's Kyra (a teacup Pomeranian) got her out of a puppy mill situation as well.
I call her the "velcro dog", since she seems to stick to your lap really well.

And +1 mini horse.

And it looks like I need to get more up-to-date pictures of my dogs

Horrible, nasty conditions. Most dogs are bred over and over again, constantly caged and in their own filth. Little to no health care (vaccines, wormings, etc.). Just to make the owners money.
Yea, Molly is a mess. I blame it on her mother's side (chihuahua).

Guess I'm the first cat person. I call her Ms. Less as in brain LESS, hope Less, sense Less, use less, & worth Less. Her real name (Don't look at me like that, I didn't name her, my niece's daughter, 5 years old at the time did) is Snuggles. Got her from my niece when she stayed with me. She had 2 cats, 3 kittens , & a dog. Gave the mother & other 2 kittens to the little Pigg. They were gonna be barn cats to keep the mice outta its barn. Lemme see if I can remember how to get pics here, at my age, this computer stuff gets confusing to say the least. *Edit* Guess she must be a little over 3 years old now. She was born sometime winter of '09 -'10 if I remember right.

Okay, here we go. "Get link. This lets people see your album even if they aren't on Spacebook".

Its good to see this topic here. This is one that Jimmy Smith (Jim) originated at the Nest and I feel he would enjoy knowing it migrated here.
