I couldn't have said it better - I heard about this, and that is a huge loss. It's the same as Canada not being Canada anymore. We don't have beer anymore, or snow, or Hockey, or Terry Fox, or you know what I mean.

Stompin' Tom, you will be missed.

Canada's problem is that our open-ness towards other peoples, religions and so on has diluted our heritage, ruined our proud history, and all but decimated our patriotism. We need more people like Stompin' Tom who believes in our great nation.

If it makes you all feel better, we have a government that spends money like crazy, and while they are at it creating stupid laws or starting a war. I might have to dissapear to Canada when the Chinese take over.

Don't bother, what the Chinese don't own, the Hindus do. Not counting what the Natives are screaming is their "ancestral right". :smh: I'm part Scandinavian, can I claim my ancestral right to raid, slaughter, loot, & burn?

Well there is no way I'm running to Mexico, they have drug lords down there. :speedy: I would bring a VAM across the boarder though.

Sorry guys and gals, I can't go there right now... I know Canada has it's faults, but after a great Canadian has passed, we should revel in what makes Canada great in this topic.

 Sorry, did loose sight, there. At least we've enough land to each go do our own thing, even if "our own thing" is sitting by a mountain lake with a campfire & some good tunes & even better friends.

No problem, I'm usually there too.

One thing my wife just told me (I've been singing 'the good ole' Hockey game' for the past two days now) is during a game, the entire crowd sang that song in tribute to Stompin' Tom. She saw it on the news or something like that.

Anyone catch that game, or hear about this? Happened either yesterday or tonight...
