i grew up listening to country, oldies, and eighties rock music so i like most music from the forties, fifties, sixties, seventies, and eighties. that being said there is some good music from the ninties as well as now days but if it's some wierd undecipherable stuff like techno or something that sounds like every other rap or hip-hop song (there are only like four or five rap or hip-hop songs that i can say i like) and that includes whatever the hell justin bieber :nervous: :fuuuckyou: :fuckyou: (i can't stand him) is labeled as, then you'll have better luck getting milk from a bull than you will getting me to like it.

I can't say I hate all rap, back in the 80's Anthrax (metal band) did a bit with Public Enemy that was pretty cool, and I listen to the "wicked shit" every now and again as it makes me laugh :mrgreen: . I grew up listening to rock from the 50's and 60's so as much as I hate to admit it, I have a liking for anything from Elvis, Buddy Holley, Chubby, Beach Boys, to that incomprehensible growling of modern death metal, such as Cannibal Corpse or the spoof metal of GWAR :queer: .

I don't get the linking to Youtube either Mernsy. Shagg and everyone else seems to know the trick to getting the actual video clip/pic to pop up.
But I haven't figured it out either, can only post the clicky link like what you did and nothing pops up. (P.S. the "Youtube" button up there doesn't do anything- besides this --> [ youtube ][ /youtube ] without the spaces of course but still it only shows up as a link).

On the note of country music- Never have liked it. Closest I'll come to it is a little Johnny Cash here and there. I like some 80's southern rock (ZZ Top, Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, etc.), 90's grunge/alternative, punk, metal/speedmetal/deathmetal, some techno & dubstep (pretty damn picky though). So I know nothing of country music :popcorn:

For those who don't know. We can post youtube videos directly on the page rather than posting a link which will lead you off the site, here's a little rundown on how to do it.
When posting, you might have noticed a "youtube" button below the B (bold)button, when you click on it, this will appear.

{youtube][/youtube}

Find your youtube video,
say this is the link

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hN874CjF2v4&feature=plcp

Take the videos ID (show below in RED)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hN874CjF2v4&feature=plcp
Copy it and paste it between the youtubes, like so,

{youtube]hN874CjF2v4[/youtube}

this is what it should look like (only no color I just did that to show how to do it). This will give you what you see below.
