Post subject:  The spanish Eagle left the paintshop

Hello from overseas and thanks to all the people following our adventures in the paintshop and rust world since past august 2013

The Eagle finished its paint work one month ago, mid february 2014, now remains unfinished the headliner of the Eagle, and the project to lower the front suspension replacing original coil springs with the coil springs from an SX-4 4cylinder engine.

Looks great. If it were mine, I would raise the rear vs. lowering the front, but I know you've wanted that front lower for a while.

that looks pretty damned good ..... I thought all cars over seas needed to have clear front indicators or is that just in certain parts?

It came with orange front indicators, since it were modified in 1982 by the Swiss importer to work only as directional lights, not as position lights. The position lights were added in the low beam lamp, since the low beam lamp weren´t tje original sealed beam, it was a Hella european "not sealed" lamp and it has added a second lamp socket for the parking-position light in clear colour-

Also the side parking lights were modified by the JH-keller importer to work as directional lights, and not as parking lights.

All lamps were restored to its original configuration, the sidemarker lamps and the front orange parking-position lamps, since it was registered as an historical vehicle and it can be drived with its original specifications.

These ones are the driving lights of my Eagle, well these ones are spares for replacement, in case of broken the ones installed.

You can see how there was installed a second lamp on the light, and there is not a sealed beam.
