Good morning guys, Image just wanted to say Hi and and get the first few posts out of the way.

Long time Jeep owner. Just got the SX/4 in my sig, VERY clean and VERY stock. Has been stored long enough all the plastic is brittle. It runs well and gets frequent use through out the week. My DD is a '75 J-20 with a TBI'd 425 Caddy BB, the wifes is a TBI'd 360 Grand Wagoneer. The way I go, this might not stay stock for long.

Ok, ok, so on with the pics...

I brag on the Jeep sites, I've only got $500 into this car...

That's one dusty engine bay! Car looks pretty good though. Interior could use some work and that one fender is a little messed up. Sounds like you got a killer deal!

Welcome, I'm still new too. Not much snow in AZ to really enjoy an Eagle. Sand instead?

LOL, I tell everyone its my Pinto on steroids... :derder:

The engine and interior pics are from when I first looked at it. I found a couple of stuck valves right off and had a metal covered head in the yard, so I relapped the valves, did new seals and Singh grooved it. http://somender-singh.com/content/view/7/31/

It runs very well. I am going to have to replace the heater/ac controller as it is braking.

I am in the Prescott area (5100 ft) and we do see snow, just not enough to "need" 4x. Plus, I have "real" Jeeps for that.

Thanks guys. Image

Welcome to Evo, you will be surprised at how well these things work in snow. I've never found sand though, so I dont know how it will act there.

Looks pretty good. Ariz., no wonder it's solid. Always thought the 'mystery dent' was the OTHER fender? Sun is hard on interiors, yeah. Don't make any difference in how it runs though. Welcome to Evo & hope to see more of the Eagle.

Yeah, the dent is usually on the passenger fender! This is a rare example! :)

I've always been very interested in the groove concept. What kind of MPG numbers are you getting? Did you do any benchmarks before and after the groove was added? How many did you do? How did you choose?
