I'm going to give him a call to let him know i could buy it for less, but the brakes being so stiff really turned it from a daily driver to a project car. Thanks for the input guys, I'll check back if it makes its way into my hands.

He had indicated it had disk front brakes and drum in the rear, is this correct? Is it a realistic project to go disk all the way around?

involved but not impossible.
Cherokee axle in the rear and match gears up front and back.

The Grand Cherokee D35 with ABS has a disc brake option. I'm going 8.25 XJ diff with discs off ZJ or late model XJ. Doing the ZJ front upgrade too. Swapping hydroboost with E350 master to handle the extra fluid (unless I sell the car in the meantime)

ZJ front upgrade? E350 a direct swap?

I have to do some work to make the ZJ stuff work but it "looks" doable. We saved the front corner of the wagon we parted to set it up. The E350 and Astrovan hydroboost idea was from an FSJ site but I'll have to make a plate for teh firewall to fit it.

You use a resevoir from an E350 with your astrovan hydroboost? Isn't it one or the other?

I have an Astrovan hydroboost in my International Scout. It works extremely well. The difference with 33x12.5 tires is huge. Most of the FSJ and Scout guys cut and reweld the input shaft to shorten it but my Scout was done up with a 2" spacer. It works great to make the part a standard, off the shelf part.

I'm eventually planning on using the hydroboost in an Eagle also. Besides the slightly better braking, it should give enough room to use CJ clutch master cylinders with the intergrated fluid reservoir. Eventually I see that Eagle part getting even harder to find than it is now.

E350 master cyl on Astro (actually GM 4x4 truck for mine) hydrobooster.

I thought about using the early XJ 4 cyl clutch master (angled bolt pattern)
