Pictures of the first four would be great, no matter the condition. No trailer queens around here. ReverendBill would probably like to see the GMC.

62 GMC .... you got my attention or i like to call the GMC trucks of the 60's "the bodystyle chevy was the year before" I had me a 65 and a 66 c10 and I loved those trucks. the 65 was my first truck and the 66 was bought cause I had a head on with a concrete light base and REALLY screwed up the frame of the 65

I knew Bill would want to see that one.

I doubt we would say (or think) :wtf: or even :lmao: We are used to seeing Eagles and other AMC's in all kinds of shape. No prima donnas here.

Weren't they all 60-66 with the windshield change in 64-66 ? ? ? I just loved the huge V6s the GMCs got and the Chevys didn't get.

I got a 379 V6 in mine, 4.56 bore by 3.86 stroke.

That turrowfire motor was originally a failed diesel design that they retroed into a gas engine.

Well it sure works good as a gasser, Had it 14 years now tows anything I have hooked it or loaded on its back. Loses some speed in the hills though. Never more than 7mph on average only loses about 3mph for it to drop 5-7mph I gotta be towing over 15,000lbs.

Sucker ran circles around a 6.5L turbo diesel I had years ago, So I chose to keep this one as pulled better, performed better, and had light years better reliabilty.

I'm out camping at the moment, the 343 Comanche, 290 Eagle are projects in the making lol nothings been swapped yet trying to find a driver to take over for the comanche.

The ol'AMC 2.5L/150ci I4 is still driving the Comanche lol the Eagle is still 258 powered lol
