Hello from overseas

This is my Eagle from Spain, I own it since august 2010, and I suffered a lot trying to get a decent car to drive without fear to fuel leaks and steering wheel loose.

The fuel tank was replaced because it lost fuel and I didn´t realize of the fuel leaks after one year I bought it, so, I breath a lot of fuel vapors in the cabin.

The pic from the seller in autoscout24.ch

Welcome to AMC Eagle Evolution. I think you are the first member from Europe. I know others are out there and I hope they find there way here.

Great! We still need Petr (Czech Republic) and Jurjen (Holland).

As I read on previous post I am the only one who hate the blue color of my car.

I am in the "problem" to decide keeping the car in blue colour, or paint it in Cooper brown metallic from 1981-83.

Happy to find you again Whuntmore, thanks a lot for your efforts helping me to join to EagleNest but finally I wasn´t able to do that, so this new forum, the AMCevolution will be a good place to find help and talk about my Eagle

The nice wagon is not nice as it appears. The bumper endcaps broken and I buy it with a lot of scratches along the body, and windshield was replaced because previous owner make a hole in it, because he isn´t agree to sale to the salesman who sale it to me.

You can see the "adhesive tape" on driver side, to close the "bullet" hole on the windshield. Now the windshield was replaced at a high cost for me.

There is a lot of rust on the rocker panels and bumper panel from driverside. Also on the rear area, below the seat bench and near to the fuel tank in cargo area.
