Howdy all,

Will any other vehicle brake boosters fit into the Eagle, or be modded to fit? I think mine may have a hole (not sure yet though).

I have a re-manned booster and master (A1 Cardone) that I bought for my Spirit before I knew they were both the same setup as the Eagle. It has the adjustable arm on the pedal. I'm going to BC tomorrow night. Don't know what shipping would cost, but $75 for the booster/master. No core charge.

Hmmm...going to check mine out when my shitty engine is running better.

HEI shit the bed, have vacuum leaks as well, and it hates the damp air.

Where around teh booster should I look for leaks?

If you hear vacuum leaks with the motor running, it's done. Also 15 minutes after shutdown there should still be vacuum in the booster if you pull the hose.

Bringing this back from the dead.

Take an XJ brake booster and lay it beside an Eagle brake booster. Identical.

- Remove the mounts off of each, swap the Eagle mounts on.
- Cut the long section that slides into the car off of the Eagle booster.
- Cut the end off of the XJ brake booster at the same length so whats left is the same as the Eagle
- Weld them together (or alternately you can thread each end and find something that will allow them to attach)

You now have a new Eagle brake booster.
