There was a hitch on one of my wagons and I was trying to get it off before I sold it but the thing was welded to the frame...it didn't look like either of those hitches...though it was closer to the second link. It also bolted to the bumper at two points. The guy that bought it promised to take it off and let me have it, but he also only gave me 300 dollars and was supposed to give me 350...the other 50 to come after he got the title...which I found...and put in the car...which he came and picked up a day before he said he would and I never saw the other 50 or the hitch. Guy stopped returning my calls/texts. And my phone has since crashed and I lost his number. Oh well.

honeybadger has a hitch for an xj welded to the rails. it works well so far. (havent had it fall off yet anyway.) i have another hitch that is a home built unit. it bolts to the bumper mounts. those brackets are made out of like 3/8 thick plate. heavy cross beam, and then a heavy bar sticking out for the ball to go on. i think im going to cut that bar off, and make it so it will take the 2" reciever. i cant STAND them damned shin bighting bastages. i like to take my 2" recievers out and have them hidden.
