I tried by best to represent the Eagle community but the competition was just too tough!!! I don't mind losing fair and square. I think AMX's 1 & 2, Javelin 3rd. What a great time though. So many people stopping by thanking me for bringing the Eagle. One guy took tons of pics and said there were three vehicles he wanted to see at the Chrysler show and on his list was an Eagle. So many people thanked me for bringing it. Tons of related stories. Reminds me of why I do what I do.

I posted awhile back of hunting for a Rebel. One drawback of this one: I want a hardtop to race. This car was just awesome.

Very cool, I didn't know the chrycos @ Carlisle welcomed amc's. Have to keep that in mind, on a similar note I again had the only Eagle in the CNY AMC show this year.

Yeah, in fact, they would like that class to grow. One of the Carlisle managers has a 60 something Rambler. In the one picture you can just see the front end by the baby blue Javelin.

Too bad, I'll be out that way this weekend. I would have loved to take my SX/4.

I usually make several of the Carlisle shows, but I think I am only going to do the Chrysler show in '15. It would be great to have an immense AMC showing. It doesn't matter what shape your car is in, understand as every year passes there are less and less AMC's around. I have no affiliation with the show, just an aging car guy. Like I mentioned earlier, it's amazing how many people stop by and talk about the Eagle. It isn't about winning any trophy but people sharing in the car community. The date for 2015 is July 10-12. Google Carlisle PA, maybe it's closer than you think. Additionally, the Chrysler show is one of the best Carlisle has all year. So post up if you're interested. I take the motorhome and stay at a friend's place off the fairgrounds Thursday to Sunday. There is more camping available near the fairgrounds also. There are plenty of hotels since it's right off the turnpike.

Hmmm, tough call, been to the chryco show there before, not with a car, just to spectate. Definitely will keep this in the back of my head as to what to do next summer, lol.
