Yeah has anyone actually gone and tried getting a Clifford header installed yet? Some youtube videos of Eagles claim to have them but others on forums said they wont clear the front diff.

Clifford used to make an Eagle specific header but stopped making them because of little to no interest.

if you can find a renix era (87-91) 4.0 in a jeep the exhaust manifold will work and clear the front diff

I've never tried but I have seen a few instances where people used the 258 stuff on a 4.0 head so my thought would be that it is backwards compatible

The exhaust ports on a 4.0 are roundish whereas they are more rectangular on a 258. Wouldn't work well to interchange exhaust manifolds between them.

You need to use the copper manifold gasket along with a good intake gasket.
