Well, they gave me a freaking parking ticket, for having ONE TIRE on dirt, dirt that was on top of pavement, but since it was on base, I don't have to pay it
It did have some interesting information on it though that I did not know, I drive a Plymouth Eagle apparently

awe, if you had to pay it you could fight it cause the person that issued the ticket is not only a moron but they are also blind cause to get your plate number they had to look right past the badge that reads "AMC" ......

Not if they're looking at the front plate, in which case all they might see if the "Eagle" on the hood trim, if it's there. Just sayin' cause some places require front plates, not just rear. Kinda stupid, imo, but oh well.

I live in one of those stupid states that requires a front plate! :(

Also yeah, if you did have to pay it I'd fight it on grounds that you don't drive a Plymouth eagle so it must be a ticket for someone else that accidentally got put on your car! :)

As a former LEO, as long as the plate number, time of citation and location of the infraction is correct, the make and model does not matter much. Unless it is really off, like a motor home being identified as a Yugo. Many a car is misidentified as to make and/or model. My Concord was mistakenly registered as an American Camper (until I corrected it) and if they had run the plates that is what it would have come back as.

Yeah I found out the hard way don't be a smart ass about their foul ups either. Got a parking ticket with my old cutlass, cop wrote the ticket as being sedan. I sent the ticket in, along with my fine, and a note that stated, by the way the car is a coupe, not a sedan. They sent me a bill.
