I was walking my dogs and I hear this loud squeak coming from up ahead, a block or two. I see the front of the car and am like, wtf? did someone steal my car?(I was only a block from mine) and then I saw it was a shit brown eagle maybe woody, and I tried to wave him down(no idea why, just excited I guess) but he didn't see me. I think I've seen him once before in the vicinity of where I live, so maybe I'll catch him one of these days.

If I've seen that one before, that makes 2 eagle sightings in Portland, OR for me. My 4th overall in my life(a jacked up wagon and a stock sedan in Brooklyn, NY). Such a rare treat.

 seems like we all act like idiots when we see another Eagle.
I went on a trip-cation to Branson in 2011
We went to a few sights (lunch @ a chinese place, wax museum, fleamarket then later the Dixie Stampede) and walking out from the chinese place I see a red on black sport SX/4 in the slow Branson traffic. I started yelling and jumping up and down and really wanted to run out in the traffic but refrained. Never got dudes attention
Can't help but wonder what other people are thinking that see us actin' a fool

That sounds like Bill Dickerson's SX/4. I wonder if it was?

Bill (billd) from the AMCForum? Just guessing.
I seen it later sitting at one of the building there on the Branson strip, sitting further back on a pretty much empty lot... so guessing it was an employee of that place. The place escapes my mind, ugh! But wasn't that far from the wax museum if that helps. Don't go to Branson often, can't ya tell ? The Eagle looked like it needed some restoration, dull paint and whatnot and it does look like billd's SX in his signature.

Billd's build thread is on the old EVO site if you need a refresher mud.
I agree, I do tend to go slightly "goofball" when I see another out in public, haha.

not for an eagle, but i have other amc's. old ramblers also. i work at an auto repair shop and was testdriving a huge 15 passenger full size van. saw a '62 rambler (like mine, only a wagon instead of 2 door) going thru town. try chasing down a rambler thru town in a 15 passenger BUS!!! i cought the guy and gave him our amc club info and he actually showed up to our bbq! lol. he thought i was crazy at first till he found out about our club.

Yup, billd. He probably feels I had something to do with him being disinvited from the Nest. Not so. We all know who did ..... Bill is a nice guy and knows his AMC stuff. I have taken a couple of long, long road trips with him to score Eagles. One in Pennsylvania and one near Saint Louis.

yeah, I'll try and get one of my designer buddies to draw us a logo and get some business cards to print out like the previous thread said, to get us networked.
