Hello everyone we all know it's tax time and I took part of my return and purchased a 1998 jeep grand cherokee. I needed to replace my 1993 jeep grand with something in better shape and now I have the green light to use whaterver parts I deem nessary for the eagle!!! Soooo many choices. As soon as it gets warm enoufgh I will be pulling the engine from the eagle, can't wait.

Well I think I am going to put the 4.0 head/fuel injection system with a new cam shaft to give me a real peppy 4.2. Then save the 4.0 short block to make my stroker in the future. I was planning on putting the stroker in my 76 hornet.

'93 ZJ is 75/25% that it's AW4 with 4.0L vs 42RE. The wiring harness is HORRENDOUS to parse down for EFI (I tried and wasted 3 weeks due to damage from the pass side TEE bone accident) but save the transmission harness back to the plug under the dash above the gas pedal somewhere. I would rock a later ZJ with the AW4 with that connector and harness.
I have the '93 ZJ motor and trans in my '84 J10 awaiting the road to my cabin to be reopened so I can work on finishing it.
