LOLOLOL, yup almost Cat lady there on dean's part.

I suppose frugal is a better term. I should actually say, "rescue" because I had like 2 or 3 days to get the paperwork in order and get it before it was hauled away.

It was on it's way to the junk yard.

People used to think I was the crazy AMC guy, but I've been thinning my herd. Hopefully by the end of next month I will have just 2 Jeeps left. The Honcho and Black Jack. Maybe one of the Comanches for fuel economy

4.0L with 2wd AW4 and 3.55 gears with no lift, no big tires = @22 mpg

Yup, 97 XJ, 4.0, 4wd Aw4, 3.55s, stock height & tires, easy on the skinny, average 21.5mpg highway. I can usually pull 500km to a tank - not bad for a billboard on wheels! :lol:
