The '68 Travelall went away and the Sportside box from my '83 Honcho is going on my '84 J10 mini-monster truck (which is getting revived, hopefully long before Christmas).

The '93 Grand Cherokee shell will go away once I get the trailer fixed. (that 4.0L HO is for sale as a running core)

Once either my Eagle is finished or sold or the Comanche finds a new home I'll be able to put electricity and heat (pellet stove on 12VDC and a solar panel in the heat box to run the fan) and hook up water in my cabin for full time living.

Got the xj driving and the clutch working again, only thing wrong was a broken clutch pedal. Surprisingly the ba10 shifts ok as well. I like driving it due to the manual trans.

The ba10 isn't as bad as people make it out to be, it will be just fine if not severely abused (just like the SR4). They just didn't hold up to as much torture as the ax15 that replaced them.

the ba10 that I have in my truck has surprisingly held up well with the abuse I put it under using it for the trails and whatnot ..... the only real issue I ever have with it is it don't like to hold second gear when it's really cold outside

Got comanche parts yesterday, which will be going into the cherokee. Its scary when there are more Comanches than Cherokees in the junkyard. they have finally become part of the cars that you use to see alot of, but don't anymore in this area

My 2wd BA 10/5 had 120,000 on it after being rebuilt when I pulled it to convert to 4x4. It was set up by a Peugeot guy here in Seattle who said the factory clearances were all wrong, and oil was wrong too, which is what killed most of them (aside from abuse)

Floor is fixEd on the Cherokee, and it is getting closer to seeing the road once again. The 4.0 has extremly low oil pressure at hot idle though, so it might be coming out at some point for a rebuild. It does sound nice though, and it has been said that Amc jeep gauges lie at times so hopeful I can get some more miles out of it instead.

^^ I'm afraid to hook up the oil pressure gauge in my chero, lol, I don't want to know what it does. If it blows up tomorrow it doesn't owe me anything :lmao: .

Brought the red eagle over to the shop, engine is ready to come out, and finally fixed the sail panels that peeled back on me back in 2013. I'll never use Dura Glass again. :shrooms: :sly: :soapbox: . Pics to come in the redheaded stepchild thread as it becomes worthy. :blazin:

Put a windshield in the xj, and removed tint from the front windows, and cleaned a mouse nest out of the heater fan. Found out the renix coolant bottle has a crack in it, and why it runs warmer than I think it should. Sadly it might make a succesful attempt to replace the eagle, although it will be hard to beat the viscous coupler transfer case most days.

I've heard many complaints about the renix era cooling system, never used one myself, I converted mine to the conventional style from the HO years, right off the bat.
