Hey everyone, I've been searching around on craigslist and I found an Eagle that I think doesn't show up all that often.

If there is only minimal rust then an '80 two door is a good buy as it has all the time four wheel drive, the heavier crank 1-6 and a metal valve cover. Heater cores are available but are kind of a pain in the butt to change but if that is all that is wrong with it then it sounds like you may want to shoot the seller and offer.

If that car has a four speed in it, then it was an owner conversion. Every 1980 Eagle was built with an automatic transmission.

i'm not entirely sure that is correct as my dad worked for a guy in late '79 that had a Eagle wagon with a four speed in it from the factory.

also depends on how long that car has lived in minesota, it has what is the current design SD plates on it, so it might of lived most of its life in SD. MN cars can be rusty, or if that car lived in Sioux falls, look closely for rust.
