Thought about that but not sure I could get for less than the local listing by the time you add shipping.

damn. even for me, in eastern Oregon, Denver is like a 10 hour one way drive. not happening with my schedule. that sucks. just keep looking closer for a jeeper getting rid of his t5. I can rebuild it easily if needed.

Interesting. I'll have to keep this in mind should something be wrong with mine.

Was looking at it for me too. though $500 is more than I want to spend.. it is claimed to be rebuilt.
Done right at $500 it's not a bad price.

$500 for a rebuilt tranny is pretty good I'd say. It looks good!

A T-5 may not be as strong as an AX-15, but it is plenty strong for what a lot of us choose to do with our Eagles. I would love to swap a T-5 in place of the SR-4 that is currently in my eagle. I do not plan on introducing an absurd amount of power (even if I do eventually install a stroker), so a T-5 should be a plenty powerful 5 speed tranny. There are a lot of Mustang, Camaro, and Firebird drivers out there running T-5s (even not world class) without any issue. In my opinion, a T-5 is all an Eagle needs if you are going for a 5-speed manual transmission.
