Now this might have actually sold had it been made. Posted at the AMC Rambler Club FB page.

Other than the low pro tires, that is absolutely beautiful, I love it :blazin: . So much potential in pacers, sweet looking car.

i personally know the guy who built it. i have seen it in person. he has built SEVERAL strange amc cars. (lengthend a concord or something i think, and then also took a 2 door concord, droped in a WELL BUILT 401 with wc t5) have seen them all! the guy does TOP NOTCH work. this pacer pickup thing is such a built, there are lots of random parts that were used to build it. iirc, it was his son with his import cars who inspired him to go with the big wheel, low pro tire. i talked to him for a long while when he was building it several years ago. he was still working with the body kit trial stages. the car is BAD ASS looking in person now!!! i can take you right to the guys house if you like. ;-)

I don't mind the lower profile tires...but yeah, I'm not a fan of that wheel. A better wheel with low profile tires would still look cool if you asked me.

not my choice of wheels/tires, but seeing it in person, it really is pretty sweet. and to look at it as what he built it as, its sweet. its not really something he drives. its a show car mostly. im sure the ride would be pretty shitty with those wheels/tires. iirc he has a mustang II front suspension in it. its been about 2 years since i saw the car and 5 years since i saw it when it was without the body and he was doing the front end. he has a blog on building it and a couple of his other cars. if anyone is interested, i have it saved somewhere, i can look it up tomorrow to share so you all can see some of his stuff. he had a BUNCH of amc parts in several containers and sold on ebay forever. hes a real nice guy. he just wanted to build something TOTALLY different that would make people go :wtf: he said. i think it sure does that!! im telling you all, seeing it in person is WAY different than the pics.

Is he the one that did the cool shortened wheel base Concord? Or maybe it was a Hornet.
