So I am pretty certain the solenoid in my hatchback has failed.
What do you guys suggest I do about this? there is only an electric lock,
no key hole in the trunk so its the only way i can open it.
I tried lordco, but does anyone know if there is a work around I could do?
Or maybe is anyone selling a solenoid for the hatch?

you can open it from the inside, on mine I found that the contact that routes power to the solenoid was dirty and loose. fixed the problem, might work for you but need to get it opened first

I did get it open from the inside,
all of the contacts look fine, However i am going to reseat everything and grease up the mechanical parts.
we'll see how that goes.

So I removed all that, brushed it all up and reseated everything, and now it won't start... Battery is fine. Any ideas?

Do you have spark? How about fuel at the carb, or does it not crank over? If it docent crank, or has no spark it could just be a blown fuse. If you have a test light, find a good ground and both sides of the fuse should light the test light. If only one side lights the test light, that is most likely your blown fuse. If neither side lights the test light it may be due to a switch not being on that controps that circuit.

it wasn't sparking all day yesterday, it actually had zero power at all (no interior lights or headlights or anything). Just after playing with the battery terminals it sparked and turned over. I turned it off and repeated, no problems. everything seemed a-okay just a loose connection. The terminals are clean, the battery has a full charge. That was last night, then this morning I got intermittent sparks, two sparks out of about 12 attempts.... and then i lost all power again, no more interior lights even.

So an update: I kept having issues stalling and then i would need to jumpstart it. the battery checked out.. so i replaced the starter solenoid and it seems to have fixed everything. the only remaining issue with it now is that it still stall, but only in reverse, and not every time. Any more ideas?
