Do you know if the yj is 2 or 3 wire....the one i have off a dakota is a two wire and not working right. The jeep system i used is a three wire.

was it an AW4 or 42RE auto? I'm about to part the '93 ZJ I have with AW4. Trans and 242 tcase are going with my 304 in my '83 Honcho once the title paperwork is fixed up.

Well made it another successful deer hunting trip. Shot a buck whitetail and also caught some inland trout. ... venison tenderloins with eggs and fresh trout. It was a trouble free 400 mile road trip with my dadImage : 1985amceagle:

Thanks madog...I belive I have found my hot start problem. When she is hot the gas is all draining back into the tank and it takes some cranking to get the line filled and pressurized. So for a temp fix for now a wired in a
Push button switch with power to the fuel pump to charge the line before I try to start it when its hot. So far so good.

I didn't feel like reading the whole thread. What fuel pump are you using? There should be a check valve in the fuel pump. It could also be a bad fuel pressure regulator.
