I have been working on my 82 Eagle. My dad and I have replaced the distributor, spark plugs, and solenoid. We have no clue what else to check. It did turn over at one time. We had it running at one point and all of a sudden it wasn't getting spark. What else could be the problem.

Did you check for voltage at the coil? (With the key in run and/or in crank?)

any chance you unhooked something that looks like this, or anything behind the passenger side kick panel?

We haven't removed the passenger side kick panel. We haven't even looked at it.

there is a computer behind that kick panel that controls the carburetor and ignition.

Make sure the coil is good. Just because it's getting power doesn't mean it's doing anything. The canister coils can fail easily and it's a cheap part to replace.

I replace the stupid horseshoe style connector coil with Napa IC12SB (or IC12 which is the better quality one but often the same) which has double the output of OEM too.
