Figure I better start a post here for the old gal. I have an 81 Kammback that has cancer. It has already had 1 transplant from a PO as the dash is not original but from another Kammback. It seems both vehicles were Automatics because of the hole in the floor. However it currently has a SR4, over sized tires and a few issues that have caused it to get parked after winter and spring. Saved me several days off work when we got the heavy snow here in KC. Got a shell from of a SX4 that I plan on hacking to pieces and transplanting several pieces to Kammy. Biggest hold up is my lack of body work experience. Looking at the 2 cars I want to be able to cut the whole front off and swap the 2 but I know that isn't feasible.

P.S.
Prafeston's project sits up the street a couple blocks. Going to see if I can help get it running.

Welcome. Makes sure to post lots of pictures as you progress. Membership right now is still growing, but many of the present members are old AMC pros or quickly becoming so.

I hope Kammy and Penny can get together and play someday! :)

I took a look at his Kammy a long time ago and was scared away by all the rust. I hope you can get it all hacked out and replaced the right way...one of the POs had just sprayed that expanding foam stuff all over the place!

I look forward to meeting you and hope we can get Penny started soon! Can't wait to see some more pics of your Kammy!

Yep, those are the same pics the original owner emailed me! :)

You definitely have some work ahead of you on the Kammy. Looks like there is even some frame rust that needs some attention.

...but at least it's running! That's more than I can say for Penny!
