i hold absolutely NO hope for the new cherokee being anywhere half decent. off road, towing, anything. been said by SEVERAL sorces that the new kee is built off the damned DART platform. try to build an suv like that off of a small car platform? wow. will be interesting.

Um, Dave, our eagles were built off a small car platform. I'm not sticking up for the new ugly stick, and I do stress ugly, but it's what the masses want, even though the rest of us think it's a worthless POS that doesn't deserve the Chero name. Fuckin fiat. :smh:

i know shagg, but atleast our eagles were always the right direction engine/trans mounting. darts are sidways engine/trans fwd cars. and to make a cherokee out of a fwd car platform? thats whats a joke to me. its like making a respectable 4x4 rig outta my '03 dodge peon. afterall, the dart is the replacement of the caliber wich is the updated peon platform. so i guess if you put it that way, the peon has become the new cherokee right? see the joke im talking about? so, on that thought, can i buy the new cherokee suspension/drivetrain and put into my peon and have a "trail rated" peon? :lmao: :smh:
