I had not seen those before. The Big AMC's seem to have styling similar to ChryCo. What AMC could have been.

I don't see why they don't bring the eagle back. The market's here. Everyone around here rolls around in subie wagons. The 'crossover' suv is all the rage. It'd probably suck and be 50% plastic, but I'm just saying. If I ever get mega rich I'm going to have an amc eagle monster truck and I'm gonna build a new worthy eagle and sell that shit.

It is interesting that on this page they don't have a modern Eagle Concept...I mean it was the last production vehicle made by AMC and they didn't even pay homage to it...kind of sad! :'(

that was an april fools joke done by hot rod http://www.hotrod.com/featuredvehicles/hrdp_0804_amc_concept_cars/viewall.html it got the hot rodders excited and the amc collectors to this stage: :soapbox: I think they could actually get the company to come back from the dead, it might take off.

I remember that issue, I too have it, I bought it just because of the headline, I can't remember the exact dialect when I found out it was a prank, but I know more than a few explicit lyrics left my mouth, :wtf: :soapbox: :fuuuckyou: :shrooms: . I was all sorts of excited like a kid in a candy store, then to only find out the lollipop was made from broccoli, I was very disappointed.

I consider my Jeep Patriot the closest thing out there to an Eagle wagon. On a kind of related/unrelated note. They compared the specs of the new Cherokee and the Jeep Patriot. The Patriot came out better in many categories, even some off road ones. Let's see a trail rated, well appointed 23K Patriot Latitude vs. a 30K+ Coughokee.
