Pat shared this on facebook. Apparently the framed is tied but I see little in the way of cross reinforcement where the roof was. The Sundancer also had a tied frame but it was heavily reinforced at the top of the windshield and where the "B" pillar was. It also has a SBC Image

looks cool, now someone should liberate that car from the sbc. the back looks like a giant targa band or whatever it is called.

damn! that thing is SWEET!!! i wonder if that rear section is strong enough for the cross strength. if amc woulda built one of these, i bet it woulda sold ALOT!

Typically two steel stringers are welded from the front stub frame to the rear one. In the Sundancer there were a couple of cross braces tied into those.

I will say that I don't care for it because there is no glass in the doors, no way to re mount the rear window and from what I can see no way to attach a canopy to stay dry in the rain
