Started the Jeep up last night and it started right up. Thinking of tack welding patches for the windows and doing some welds to the roof, drive it for the winter and then in the spring see if I can get someone to patch the Eagle up.

If you start parting, I need that center console lid & the 3rd brake light. Screws are stripped on the console in Bleep & the 3rd brake light is busted where it screws on (IF I get it, I need the screws too, lost mine). Factory stereo? What is it & functioning? Bleep's is dead AM/FM - Cass.
Console lid is broke, Aftermarket stereo(non functioning) CD. I can get you the 3rd brake light no problem. No idea if it's usable. Could be a loose wire..

I'm going to see if the stereo bar across the back roof will fit in my eagle...

Thanks. Mine, the housing where the screws go through was cracked & only hanging by a corner. Hit a good bump & it let go. Took it out & tried crazy/super gluing it, but don't trust it.

Talked to a Jeeper that knows more than I do and he thinks the Jeep has a tow package.. It has a hitch on the back.
Is that the A/C radiator or a transmission cooler on the front?
And what is a U Haul hitch worth...

Check the transmission. The tow package wasn't really anything, but a transmission with cooler lines going to it. My GFs 2000 Jeep had a hitch and was not a tow package equipped Jeep. Here dad just had the hitch installed my Uhaul when they had to move once. I'd think you could get like 50+ for the hitch.

Sounds great.
The guy is already going to but the front bumper and wheels for 110 and I throw in the old battery off of Kammy.
extra 50 for hitch...Starts making the money I spent on it not a bad idea..

So I take it you didn't decide to drive it for the winter!

I need the money.. If I can make some I got to do it.
Heart transplant is the next thought.. Move it all over.. If I make enough on parts maybe I can gear the front axle to a 3.54 and match the XJ's or swap the spare axle from the SX/4

Good luck! Shouldn't be hard to make your money back without even selling any of the engine bits and then you basically got a free 4.0. I would have bought that thing had I had the space to strip it.
